CT(Current Transformer) Insulation Resistance Test

 INSULATION RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT TEST

To ensure the insulation healthiness of the primary and secondary circuits the measuring insulation resistances 

Equipment Required :

i. 0-5/10KV Meggar, 

ii. Test leads

Test Procedure: 

The above test to be conducted at following points

1. Primary to Earth

2. Primary to Secondary

3. Secondary to Earth 

4.Between secondary cores

     Note:

            a. Remove the connected earthing system involving CT under test

            b. Disconnect the connected terminal  of CT M.Box .
